COMANCO is moving into the next phase of its rain tarp maintenance project at a landfill in Pasco County Florida. The crew has been extending the perimeter of the 20mil rain tarp of the closed cell to ensure that excess storm water doesn’t seep into the leachate collection system. Additionally, the crew is removing the existing liner outfalls and installing fabriform flumes in their place. The next phase will consist of re-grading the existing roadway between two cells, and lining in between. The newly lined section in between the cells will flow into another new fabriform flume. The crew is led by Superintendent Todd Kirkman and Project Manager Dan McRae.
