COMANCO is currently working on a landfill cell expansion in Northeast Texas. COMANCO has previously installed an underdrain geocomposite layer at this site last month, and has now returned to complete the primary liner and leachate collection layer. The crew, led by Superintendent Larry Graham is installing 60mil Textured HDPE liner on the slope and 60mil Smooth HDPE liner on the floor. This system will tie into the first portion of the cell COMANCO installed last year. The crew will complete the geosynthetics by installing geocomposite over the entire area which will allow the leachate to flow to the designated sump area.
