COMANCO Superintendent Larry Graham and his 12 man crew left the beach and beauty of a San Diego area job site to the desert and heat of Las Vegas, NV. Working in average temperatures of 105 degrees plus, the crew starts work at 3:00 AM to beat the heat as much as possible.
They are lining a 6 acre four layer evaporation pond consisting of 60mil Double-Sided Textured black and white liner, Geonet and Geocomposite; all work will be completed by the end of July. Heavy emphasis is on safety and hydration for all employees working in the extreme heat.
