The twelve (12) man crew led by Bill Newman and Jorge Gomez has completed the first clearing phase of a cell construction project in Apopka. FL. The team has now begun the next phase of hauling, placing and compacting subgrade fill. The tasks completed to date consist of 8 acres of subgrade clearing and grubbing, 21,000 cubic yards of cut/fill earthwork, and partial temporary access road construction.
The team has done a great job thus far working in concert with existing landfill operations as they continue to operate a significant amount of heavy machinery in the active landfill. Our customers are very happy that the crew is beating their construction schedule while maintaining a high level of safety awareness. Please see pictures below for progress to date.
Keep up the great work gentlemen.
