COMANCO has completed a pond liner replacement project for a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Coral Springs, FL. Superintendent Larry Graham led the crew which was tasked with removing the existing pond liner and concrete curb, fine grading the subgrade, installing a 32 oz non-woven Geotextile underlayment, and installing a 45mil reinforced polypropylene Geomembrane. Once the crew completed the liner installation and detail work, they installed a modified DOT Type F concrete curb and gutter around the entire perimeter of the pond. This curb will help protect the liner from lawn care maintenance damage, as well as protect the anchor trench and promote positive drainage into the pond.
