Last week, Superintendent, Luis Espinal and a 9-man crew installed approximately 73,800 SF of 20-mil white HDPE rain tarp at the Heart of Florida Landfill located in Lake Panasoffkee, FL. Sands bags were placed on top at 10′ centers to act as a ballast system. This marks another successful project completed by COMANCO on schedule, under budget and most importantly, safe with no accidents or incidents. Earlier this year, COMANCO completed the construction of this brand new 30 acre landfill that is made up of two cells.
