Superintendent Carlos Garcia and his 6-man Crew recently completed removal and replacement of 77,000 Sf of HDPE liner in a western Nevada Gold Mine. The project presented challenges with limited access around the perimeter of the pond. Carlos and his crew performed a very clean removal, disposal and install. The project was completed on time to prevent any interruption in production for the facility.
COMANCO was also able to perform needed repairs in a heap leach channel while onsite for the pond liner removal and replacement job. Leadman Alfredo Flores headed up a three-man crew that performed inspection and repair of an active channel. The crew was able to complete the inspection and repairs by damming the channel off and diverting the water past the inspection area. Repairs are continuing in various areas of the mine
Great job Carlos, Alfredo, and the entire crew, for your commitment to safety and quality work.
