COMANCO has completed replacing two holding pond liners at a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Central, FL. The scope of work consisted of dewatering & removing silt from existing ponds, removing existing liner system, removing the perimeter fence, re-grading the ponds’ sub-grade, installing 102,354 SF of 60-mil smooth HDPE geomembrane liner, installing two new concrete ramps with HDPE embed channel for liner tie-in, 8 pipe boots, 52 LF of batten bar at concrete structures, and slip resistant walkway between the two ponds making it safer for personnel at the WWTP.
Despite the bad weather with rain storms, the COMANCO team led by Supervisor Kenny Frazier did an excellent job maintaining a safe work environment. The team provided excellent quality of workmanship that surpassed customer expectations with methodology and technical knowledge to keep one of the two ponds active at all times.
