by

COMANCO Environmental recently completed the expansion of a landfill located in North Dakota. The project consisted of three new cells that tied into multiple existing cells. The crew installed over 310,000 SF of 60mil smooth HDPE geomembrane, 30,000 SF of textured HDPE geomembrane, 22,000 SF of 40mil textured geomembrane and over 415,000 SF of 200mil geocomposite. The crew also installed over 1,800 LF of rain flaps and over 1,800 LF of tie-in to existing cells. The project was led by Project Manager Dan Ward, Project Engineers Greg Pignataro and Nick Rauh, Superintendent LeRoy Smith, and an 11 person crew. The project was finished ahead of schedule while still maintaining the COMANCO values of Safety, Quality, and Service. Good job team on another great project!
