COMANCO Completes Liner Replacement at WWTP in South Carolina

COMANCO recently wrapped up the 1st phase of a three-phase Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) liner replacement project near Spartanburg, SC. Overall, three separate holding basins are scheduled to have their existing liners replaced. On this mobilization, the old Equalization Basin liner was replaced with a 60-mil HDPE geomembrane. In addition, the liner was mechanically secured to concrete structures within the basin using batten bar and pipe penetrations were made watertight with pipe boots. Supervisor, Alejandro Loza & an 8-man crew made efficient and safe work on this phase and will be back in a couple of weeks for Phase 2.
