COMANCO recently finished up a liner installation project at a landfill near Dallas, Texas. Superintendent Tony Sanchez and crew installed approximately 250,000 SF of 60-mil HDPE liner, GCL, and 220-mil Geocomposite. The scope also included tying into an existing liner system over a span of 1,000 LF. In total, the project took about three and a half weeks to complete.
Despite frequent rain and inclement weather in the area, the crew was still able to complete the project in a safe and efficient manner. In the coming weeks, COMANCO will install approximately 1,000 LF of rain flap, and the cell will be complete.
