COMANCO recently completed an Odor Abatement project for a landfill in Florida. The project consisted of placing an HDPE Gas Collection System, Composite Drainage Net and Non-Woven Textile Grid Pattern, two feet of cover soil, and sod over a 2 acre slope. The project also consisted of placing one foot of cover soil on the top of the landfill, approximately 6 acres in area, and hydroseeding.
The project duration was approximately one month and was led by Foreman Kenny Frazier and engineer Mohammad Lutfiyya. The crew did a great job on safety with zero incidents, while working over construction debris and uneven slopes. Great job team! Enjoy some project photos of the progress.
