COMANCO Environmental finished the second phase of a secondary jet fuel tank liner project yesterday at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Earlier in the year, two concrete containment structures were lined and COMANCO returned this month to finish the last two structures. Superintendent, Todd Kirkman, and a 4-man crew installed a protective geotextile and a 40-mil HDPE geomembrane around these structures. The HDPE liner was mechanically fastened with approximately 200 LF of stainless steel batten bar.
