This past Saturday, COMANCO Environmental finished installing a 3-acre geosynthetic cap at the Sebree Landfill in Robards, Kentucky. The cap system consisted of a 16-oz/sy NW geotextile, a double-sided 300-mil gas vent geocomposite layer, a textured 60-mil HDPE geomembrane and a double-sided 300-mil drainage geocomposite layer. Superintendent, Tony Sanchez and his 11-man crew completed this job in less than 2 weeks. Most importantly, safety remained the top priority as there were zero incidents, accidents or injuries incurred. Please see below for some photos of the construction progress.
