COMANCO has completed a seven acre evaporation pond project in west Texas. The challenging project included the installation of a 40mil HDPE secondary layer, a geocomposite/geonet leachate collection layer and a 60mil HDPE primary layer in three adjoining ponds. The crew, led by Supervisor Jorge Gomez, had to battle high winds, rain and even snow throughout the project. The crew even utilized light plants to work longer days and take advantage of the good weather when they could. Despite the challenges, the crew wrapped up the work without a single safety incident, highlighting COMANCO’s dedication to safety.
