COMANCO recently completed the second phase of a tank repair project at a wastewater treatment plant in Miami, FL this week. The project involves the installation of seven pipe boots at various levels of a multi-story holding tank lined with a FDA/USDA approved PVC material. The entire project was a confined space entry, in which the crew entered the tank via a man lift, while another member of the crew was a dedicated hole watch. This unique project presented several challenges to our crew, but was completed safely, and on schedule. The crew was led by Superintendent Tony Boatman.
