COMANCO Environmental has begun construction on a new 20-acre Construction & Debris Landfill cell in Apopka, FL. Current activities include fine grading cell subgrade with GPS dozers, rolling the subgrade for a smooth surface, excavation of anchor trench and liner deployment. The liner system of this cell consists of a 60-mil HDPE geomembrane, a double-sided geocomposite and a GCL layer going down the leachate collection trench.
