COMANCO is almost complete with the Phase II Gypsum Stack Expansion at CF industries, Plant City. COMANCO has been onsite for a year and a half, working to expand the active gyp stack. Due to its never ending commitment to safety, and a high level of focus, COMANCO has been able to work over 125,600 safe hours to date with no incidents! COMANCO installed 7,157,089 SF (over 164 acres) of both smooth and textured liner to complete the secondary layer on the project. The primary layer had previously been installed by COMANCO in Phase I. COMANCO also installed the Pressure Relief System, the Header Pipe, and is wrapping up the Stabilization Drains. The crew, led by Site Superintendents Tommy Herrmann and Juan Gomez and On-Site Safety Supervisor Francisco Vargas, was able to deliver a quality installation, while keeping safety the number one priority.
