COMANCO Champions Safety and Leadership with April Training Sessions
April was a month of growth and hands-on learning at COMANCO. Our team participated in multiple high-impact training sessions to advance field leadership, equipment operation, and emergency response preparedness. These trainings reflect our ongoing commitment to safety, professional development, and excellence on every job site.
Building Confidence with CPR Training
On April 8th, COMANCO hosted a CPR Training session at our Plant City, FL office, led by STC instructor Brandon. This hands-on training emphasized the importance of being ready to act during medical emergencies, a crucial skill in our industry.
Fifteen field leaders participated in the training, combining a detailed presentation with practical CPR demonstrations. Brandon guided participants through essential lifesaving techniques, ensuring everyone could practice proper form and build the confidence to respond effectively in real-world emergencies.
By investing in CPR training, we’re not only enhancing job site safety but also empowering our team to look out for one another both on and off the clock—a big thank you to STC and Brandon for facilitating this impactful session.
Strengthening Leadership with NUCA Training
On April 10th and 11th, we proudly hosted NUCA’s Crew Leadership Training. This training was tailored specifically for our Spanish-speaking field leaders. Led by experienced NUCA instructor Luis Orbezo, this two-day event welcomed 21 attendees eager to enhance their leadership capabilities.
Luis cultivated an open, supportive environment where participants felt encouraged to share insights, ask thoughtful questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue. The session focused on developing strong leadership fundamentals, fostering communication, and reinforcing the importance of leading by example.
We’re incredibly proud of our team’s engagement and drive to become even more effective leaders in the field. Special thanks to Luis Orbezo for his outstanding instruction and Ed DeNeale for helping coordinate this valuable training opportunity.
Enhancing Job Site Efficiency with Loader Training
Rounding out the month, COMANCO partnered with Ring Power for a two-day Loader Training session that delivered hands-on, practical instruction to seven of our equipment operators.
Under the guidance of instructor Blake Conwell, the training covered safe and efficient loader operation, emphasizing real-world techniques and field-proven best practices. Blake’s interactive approach helped each participant boost their technical skills, confidence, and operational awareness.
Training sessions like this are vital to maintaining COMANCO’s high safety, productivity, and performance standards. We extend our thanks to Blake and the Ring Power team for their dedication to supporting workforce development.
