Last week, COMANCO Safety Officer Gavin Hutchinson briefed Mosaic, along with other participating contractors, on this years’ recap of safety incidents, lessons learned and best practices.
Gavin did an outstanding job briefing our client and other contractor’s on our safety culture to include new hire orientation, task training, company safety reporting and safety shares. Gavin expanded on how we utilize our HCSS system to capture, measure, analyze data particularly with safety incidents and how we constantly put preventative measures in place. This includes engineering controls, when possible, to eliminate safety hazards, improving through innovation, existing and new processes, as well as empowering every employee with Stop Work Authority.
It was an interactive conference that allowed us to openly discuss safety topics and engage with various Mosaic attendees as well as other contractors.
