A COMANCO crew, led by Superintendent Jorge Barrantes, has begun deployment of 60 mil HDPE liner for the gas mitigation system of a brownfield reuse project in south Florida. The project calls for the installation of over 500,000 square feet of HDPE liner designed to be a vapor barrier against potentially harmful gasses that form in the old landfill beneath the building.
The crew is also continuing to safely deploy the trenchless venting system and install the PVC header pipe ahead of the liner install, which are the other portions of the gas mitigation system for the building. The crew is demonstrating why COMANCO is a leader in HDPE liner deployment, as they expertly install the building’s vapor barrier with the quality and service we are dedicated to providing.
