COMANCO has returned to site to complete the seconds phase of a landfill cell expansion in Texas. The first phase consisted of installing a five acre 40mil LLDPE liner and single sided geocomposite overliner system. Now, COMANCO Superintendent LeRoy Smith and crew are installing the second phase, consisting of a 60mil HDPE primary liner and a combination single sided/double sided geocomposite leachate collection system. They will tie in the 40mil LLDPE overliner with the 60mil HDPE liner on the slope seen in the photos.
