Earlier this week COMANCO was able to begin installing liner on a pond remediation project in Central Florida. Superintendent Jorge Barrantes and crew began deploying three acres of double-sided geocomposite and 60mil smooth HDPE liner on the first of two ponds. With steep slopes, COMANCO is utilizing its custom liner winch to assist with deployment. Just ahead of the liner crew, Superintendent Chase Yarbrough and the site work crew are nearing completion on the demolition of the second three-acre pond. As the liner install on pond one looks to wrap up early next week, the site work crew is right on track to make a smooth transition from one pond to the next, without any downtown between for the liner crew.
