COMANCO is starting work on the installation of a four layer geosynthetic material system as a part of the coal ash landfill expansion for the OUC Stanton Energy Center in Orlando, FL. Project Superintendent Tony Sanchez will lead the crew and install the following:
Secondary Layer: 1,253,737 SF of 60mil Textured HDPE Liner
Leak Detection Layer: 450,835 SF of 200mil Geonet and 802,905 SF of 250mil DS Geocomposite
Primary Layer: 1,253,737 SF of 60mil Textured HDPE Liner with an additional 349,505 SF on an existing slope
Leachate Collection Layer: 450,835 SF of 275mil Geocomposite and 1,152,410 SF of 300mil DS Geocomposite
