COMANCO has officially been awarded the Phase I Closure at New River Solid Waste Association Class I Landfill.
The final closure will consist of an exposed geomembrane cover system that will be the first permitted final closure of its kind in the State of Florida. The closure will consist of 15 acres of exposed geomembrane, ballast trenches, and a toe drain collection system.
With COMANCOs development of a modified fusion welder, specific welding techniques and design by Jones Edmunds, this exposed geomembrane cover will have no extrusion welds along the ballast trenches. This final closure project will be one of a kind.
