Last night, COMANCO attended the ‘Pigfest Sponsor VIP Reception’ hosted by Publix Super Markets at Tiger Town in Lakeland, FL. President Mark Topp and Marketing Director Christine Thomas joined Vice President Larry Homes and his wife, Lori Holmes for this special event. Larry and Lori actively participate in the Backyard BBQ competition and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Lakeland Pigfest.
COMANCO was joined by over 300 attendees, at the reception, who enjoyed food and drinks provided by several different restaurants located throughout Polk County.

In 1997, the Lakeland Pig Festival was born and COMANCO is proud to say, we have been a supporter and sponsor since day one. In the beginning, the goals of the Lakeland Pig Festival were pretty simple:
- Raise money for local charitable organizations;
