Today, COMANCO President Mark Topp and Vice President Christine Thomas were personally invited to attend an event for Governor Rick Scott as he made his announcement that he is officially running to be our next U.S. Senator. This intimate event was hosted at the Oxford Exchange in downtown Tampa, FL where community and conversation cultivate.
Governor Rick Scott stated, “It is an honor to serve you as Governor of the great State of Florida. We have turned our state into a model for the rest of the nation to follow. Our economy is booming, our tourism industry is hitting record levels, and businesses are rushing to our state.
We don’t see this kind of change coming from Washington. That’s because it’s full of career politicians. Politicians that don’t want to rock the boat and care more about keeping their job than growing American jobs. We must change that.
It’s time to make Washington work for us. I refuse to believe that cannot be done. I have never fit in well with the career politicians, and I don’t ever plan to. Political insiders never like those who push for real change, which is precisely what I plan to do. Together, let’s get Washington to work.”
