Yesterday, COMANCO attended the Florida Phosphate Political Committee’s (FPPC) 18th Annual BBQ Dinner & Social at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, FL. This event is an annual fundraiser for the phosphate* industry, and COMANCO is always in strong attendance. The event was held from 5-9pm, and there were over 1200 people in attendance. The program at the event included speakers and presentations surrounding the industry. This year’s speakers included Congressman Ron Desantis, Attorney General of Florida hopeful Ashley Moody and after dinner, we heard industry updates from Mosaic and Nutrien.
