Last week, COMANCO attended the Florida Phosphate Political Committee’s (FPPC) 19th Annual BBQ Dinner & Social at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, FL.
This event is an annual fundraiser for the phosphate industry, and COMANCO was there in strong attendance. The event was held from 5-9pm, and there were over 1100+ people in attendance. The program at the event included speakers and presentations surrounding the industry. This year’s speakers included Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, Attorney General Ashley Moody, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, District 15 Representative Ross Spano, and after dinner, we heard Ryan Tyson, President of the Tyson group along with industry updates from Mosaic and Nutrien.
