COMANCO has finished lining Cell 5 of the Columbia Bioreactor Landfill in Columbia, MO as of mid-September. The cell was lined with approximately 415,000 square feet of HDPE Geomembrane and 6 oz/sy Geotextile. Also installed was approximately 40,000 square feet of 24 oz/sy Geotextile and a small amount of GCL.
The project team started work in late August and finished the project on September 13th. COMANCO worked as a subcontractor for Twehous Excavating on this project.
The owner performed a Conductive Leak Detection test in the liner, and no holes were found.
