COMANCO recently started the expansion of Cell 6 at Cedar Trail Landfill located in Bartow, Florida. This turn-key project includes grading 7.5 acres of subgrade material, installation of 6 layers of geosynthetics, tying into and existing liner system, installing leachate collection and detection systems, placing 2 feet of sand cover over the liner for protection, installation of five dual Reinforced Concrete Pipes with Metered Ends, and building perimeter stormwater ditches. The project team faces a very demanding schedule to complete the project and is currently on track to meet the deadline. The project team includes Project Manager Matt Remmert, Project Superintendent Bill Newman, Project Engineer Dan McRae, and Liner Project Superintendent Jorge Barrantes.
