Construction of the new ACMS Landfill in Lake Panasoffkee, FL continues to move forward on schedule. Sub-cells 1 and 2 are near complete with the cell sumps being finalized this week. The leachate collection and detection risers have been installed with the river gravel going in next. Both cells have also received the majority of the required 2’ of protective cover with the 20-mil white rain tarp deployment following behind.
The leachate storage area is also progressing. The concrete slab and surrounding walls have been poured and four of the six 45,000 gallon FRP leachate storage tanks will be delivered and set this week. These tanks are roughly 15’ around x 42’ tall! Please see below for some progress photos.
