COMANCO remains ahead of schedule at the Calamus Fish Hatchery Project in Nebraska as the Project Team continues its efficient production. With 36 out of the 40 one-acre ponds now complete and 11 half-acre ponds to go, a date of 8/27/11 has been set as the estimated completion date. That equates to an astonishing 5 weeks ahead of schedule!
The 22 man on-site crew has been busy at work removing old geosynthetics in the existing ponds and installing new Firestone EPDM geosynthetics once the ponds have been re-graded. Simultaneous installation of mud rock and gravel on the roads around and in-between the ponds has aided in the project’s increasing momentum.
Keep up the good work!
