As always, COMANCO pursues and achieves the recruitment of talented new employees who will continue to lead us in our mission of Safety, Quality, and Service.
We have officially prepared our second June class with all the necessary knowledge and skills they will require to undertake the challenges of fulfilling this very mission.
Here at COMANCO, we prioritize training, founded on the idea of proactively identifying threats, as well as reporting and controlling hazardous situations. Our week-long safety training includes OSHA 10, CPR, and First Aid, provided by the knowledgeable instructor Dennis DiLorenzo from Safety Training and Consulting. OSHA 10 training is provided to promote workplace safety and health practices, followed by 1st Aid & CPR training to provide an understanding of the best first aid practices for a wide range of conditions and situations. Finally, we conclude our training week with Job Site-Specific training, to provide an overview of the work environment as well as unique hazards our employees will encounter at their various job sites.
In the end, teamwork is the greatest tool these employees learn to be able to engage in safe practices appropriately. After this, the employees have the necessary preparation for their tasks, while also having developed skills directed at reporting and controlling a hazardous situation.
Educating all employees on the value of working safe has always been a priority for COMANCO.
