The last round of COMANCO new hires just completed their MSHA New Miner class. Instructor David Gray with Safety Solutions & Supply provided this informative 3-day class last week. As a requirement, every COMANCO new hire employee must attend the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) New Miner Class before they can enter any surface mine. This rigorous training program covers the hazards and safety regulations for the surface mines. It also provides our employees with the safe work practice and safe work habits for the mines.
