In the past couple of days, COMANCO was able to hit a milestone on a spillway improvement project in Central Florida. The crew successfully completed the two-day concrete saddle pour which will provide stability for an existing 36-inch CMP spillway. In total, 35 cubic yards of concrete were cast in place spanning over 80 feet in length. The crew took extra precautions in terms of safety by constructing safety berms, which eliminated any potential hazards for the concrete trucks traveling in and out of the project. COMANCO was able to complete two of the 12-inch HDPE corrugated outlet drains this week as well, leaving only one more to install in the coming days. EXCELLENT WORK TEAM!
