COMANCO Superintendent Carlos Garcia and his 4-man crew are nearing completion of a landfill expansion in Price, Utah. The crew has been tasked with the installation of GCL, 60mil HDPE textured liner, 200mil Double-sided Geocomposite, 12mil Dura Skrim and 8oz Non-Woven Geotextile for the new landfill cell.
In order for Carlos and his crew to complete this work on time, the equipment must be working properly and serviced regularly. When we can’t get the equipment to our mechanics, we send our mechanics to the equipment. Recently, COMANCO Mechanic David Sichtermann made a site visit to the project and serviced the equipment on hand. Carlos commented, ‘David and the equipment service truck are a great resource to keep work progressing.’
