Supervisor Leroy Smith and his crew of 12-14 have been working in the Chicago area since the end of March fighting heavy winds, rain, and even a tornado. Through it all they have worked safely and managed to bring all projects in on time and budget having just completed an 8-acre, three layer landfill cell; consisting of 60mil smooth and textured liner along with 2 layers of 8oz Geotextile.
They simply moved across the street from a 30-acre closure project consisting of 40mil textured liner and Geocomposite completed back in early June. Leroy and his crew expect to complete all work in the Chicago area by the end of August.
