Good housekeeping is one item that can help improve safety and productivity on the job. At COMANCO, employees keep equipment, trailers and tools organized to prevent safety hazards. Good housekeeping can increase job productivity by speeding up the movement of workers and materials on the job.
Effective housekeeping is an ongoing operation: it is not a hit-and-miss cleanup done occasionally. Periodic “panic” cleanups are costly and ineffective in reducing accidents.
