A COMANCO crew has completed the installation of 40 mil HDPE liner and a geocomposite venting system, over a 160-acre cooling pond area, at a chemical plant closure in Central Florida. The liner deployment began in February of 2015 and the crew was led by Max Macedo . Weather proved to be a big obstacle during the months of July and August, but the crew completed the work without any incidents. Deployment was completed in December 2015 and a small detail crew wrapped up a few punch list items last week.
