The COMANCO crew has been working diligently to cover and protect all available subgrade at a new landfill cell expansion project near central Florida. This morning, the team was able to 100% install the first two layers; a Geosynthetic Clay Liner, and a 60 mil HDPE Textured Geomembrane, to the current limits of phase I. We will continue to install the secondary Composite Drainage Net, primary HDPE Textured Liner, and primary Composite Drainage Net in constant coordination with the earthwork contractor working together as one team for our valued client.
By the end of this week, we hope to be well ahead of the original schedule. Most notably, the crew has worked safely, watching out for one another on all accords, through the heat and various adverse conditions onsite. The crew is being led by foreman Jorge Gomez and project engineer Craig Stevenson. Great job so far and keep up the great work.
