COMANCO recently completed the installation of HDPE liner at a plant in Florida. The project consisted of the replacement of a containment pad liner, including tie-in welding to existing HDPE liner, installation of SS batten bar to existing concrete, and leaving a 5′ run-out so the crew can come back later and tie-in to an embed channel in a containment wall. We are currently 2-3 weeks out from welding the liner along the embed channel.
The crew did a great job installing the liner, performing all the intricate detail, and passing all the Quality Control testing. Most importantly, the crew utilized safe working procedures throughout the project and Jose Zenteno, liner technician and operator, performed a safety audit on his peers while working onsite. The crew was led by leadman Gerardo Ruiz. Great job on another quality project to our valued customers!
