COMANCO has completed the first phase of pond installation work for a new residential complex in Orlando, FL. The two lined ponds are temporary, installed in order to dewater the remainder of the site and control the rate at which potentially contaminated water is removed from site. Now that the temporary ponds are completed, the site work can move forward with the preparation of the permanent storm water ponds that COMANCO will also install.
The crew, led by Gerardo Ruiz, installed 40mil smooth HDPE Geomembrane. Despite the fact the ponds are temporary, COMANCO still followed its standard QC procedures, documenting and testing all welds and repairs in order to provide the customer with a high quality product and thorough documentation.
