COMANCO Environmental recently commenced construction of a 6-acre partial closure to an Ash Monofill site in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Currently, ash is being balanced through a cut-fill operation to a design sub-grade. A 40-mil HDPE geomembrane liner will then be installed over the smooth & compacted surface to protect the ash from any stormwater.
Superintendent, Chase Yarbrough, and crew are working productively while maintaining a safe work environment as the #1 priority. Yesterday, crew members were rewarded with their quarterly safety bonus in recognition of their efforts & safety-conscious attitude!
