COMANCO Environmental is in the final stages of completing another partial closure project at a Construction & Debris Landfill in Punta Gorda, FL. To date, at the 5-acre site, the existing waste layer has been graded to a design elevation and 30,000 tons of clean soil has been imported and placed 2′ over the waste grade to serve as a protective barrier. Fertilizer and Bermuda sod are currently being placed over the protective soil layer.
