COMANCO recently started a project in central Florida at a power plant. The project consists of cleaning out two HDPE lined containment areas and then replacing the ponds with 100 mil HDPE liner and SS batten bar attachments to concrete. Each containment area is approximately 8,000 SF and has limited access.
The project is led by foremen Kenny Frazier and Jorge Gomez and is scheduled to complete in early January 2015. The crew has been working safely by utilizing rope ladders for access and egress and using scaffolding to install the batten bar on the vertical wall. Attached are some progress photos of the work this month.
