COMANCO Environmental recently wrapped up a leachate collection pond floating cover project just South of St. Louis, MO. A 60-mil HDPE geomembrane was installed on the pond’s floor and up the slopes. A 40-mil LLDPE geomembrane was then extrusion welded around the top of the 60-mil liner. The 40-mil LLDPE will act as a cover and contain the leachate being discharged into the ½-acre pond as it fills up.
