Outside of Fairbanks, Alaska COMANCO has started liner deployment on a heap leach pad again this year. This is a large job that consists of a layer of double-sided textured 80-mil linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane liner, and in certain areas a geosynthetic clay liner (GCL). This project is headed by Project Manager Scott Harker, Project Superintendent Martin Calderon, and Project Engineer Chris Washa.
