Earlier this week COMANCO completed a geonet installation project for an evaporation pond in western Nevada. This project was particularly challenging because when the crew arrived in the morning, the water in the pond was frozen. The plan was adjusted to install the geonet and wait for the water to thaw to install the sandbags for safer installation throughout the project. It was completed without any incidents. The project team onsite included Superintendent Jose Hernandez and Project Engineer Chris Washa.
