COMANCO has begun repair work at a fish hatchery in Texas. COMANCO is removing the existing batten bar, cutting off the existing bolts, and then shifting the location of the bar before reinstalling it using all new wedge anchors. The repair process also includes installing a new 40mil LLDPE prefabricated liner apron around each kettle, and welding it to the existing pond liner. COMANCO will spend the next several weeks repairing 58 kettles, which includes 7500 linear feet of batten bar. The crew led by Superintendent Jorge Barrantes is focused on quality, ensuring every bolt installed properly, and is torqued the same amount using a torque wrench.
